Zenjob SE is a digital temporary employment agency that connects students with companies across Germany for flexible jobs. While there were already well-functioning systems for customer and employee contracts, for a long time there was no structured contract management for third-party contracts — such as SaaS, supplier or consulting contracts. The result: no central overview, unclear responsibilities, missed notice periods and unused savings potential in the six-figure range.
telli, founded in 2024, is a Y Combinator-supported company that develops AI-powered telephone agents for companies. Unlike many other startups, telli relied on external legal support from the outset with the aim of legally securing market entry in Germany and at the same time setting the course for expansion into the USA. In this role, Paxa, represented by Niclas Stemplewski, has been with the company almost from day one.
During the Series A phase, Tactile sought flexible legal support without a full-time lawyer. Paxa took on these tasks as Fractional General Counsel, pragmatically, strategically and scalably. Today, Taktile is successfully active in the USA, has completed a Series B financing round and benefits from efficient, legally well-established structures with minimal consulting costs.
Taxdoo is a fintech scale-up from Hamburg and one of the leading providers of sales tax compliance and financial accounting in e-commerce. At the beginning of 2025, the company was faced with the task of redesigning its contract structures and internal processes. This required a new perspective. In cooperation with Paxa, a robust legal structure was created that provides legal certainty and flexibility in operational business.
Kombo is one of the fastest-growing startups in the area of API integrations. The young founding team of Kombo has a clear vision: to enable seamless integration of HR software for companies worldwide. Despite their success and rapid growth, the team was aware of the importance of legal issues right from the start. But they lacked internal legal expertise.
MILES needed short-term relief for setting up its small legal team. Paxa provided targeted support for compliance projects and the protection of operational processes, flexibly and independently. In this way, central projects were implemented and the burden on general counsels was noticeably relieved.
