Zenjob SE is a digital temporary employment agency that connects students with companies across Germany for flexible jobs. While there were already well-functioning systems for customer and employee contracts, for a long time there was no structured contract management for third-party contracts — such as SaaS, supplier or consulting contracts. The result: no central overview, unclear responsibilities, missed notice periods and unused savings potential in the six-figure range.

The central questions were:

  1. Who assumes permanent responsibility?
  2. Which Contract Lifecycle Management Tool (CLM) is best for Zenjob? The focus was on a solution for structured filing & deadline management without complex additional functions.

Solution

Together with the Zenjob team, we first selected the appropriate Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, set it up and supported the team as part of the onboarding process.

The focus was on functions that really create added value — deadline management, structured filing and transparency when it comes to licenses.

In parallel, we have developed a new vendor process together with Finance, IT and Legal so that no contract is concluded in the future without the involvement of the legal team, even in the event of automatic renewals or contract changes.
